The signs of use present even in the factory-new bag, such as scratches, are part of the "look" and do not constitute a defect.
Our notes on open-pore leather:
Leather is tanned animal skin. It is a natural product of unmistakable beauty with all its typical irregularities due to scars and pigment flaws. Each piece has its unique identity.
It is typical for these leathers to show signs of use or patina after a short time. This is a desired effect, so we recommend not applying care products initially. The leathers are oiled and/or waxed and thus have sufficient protection.
A line made with a fingernail immediately causes a light streak, which only disappears slightly through repolishing. Areas that are frequently touched and/or rub against clothing when worn are polished. These signs of use that develop over time are part of the normal appearance of open-pore leather and support the creation of an absolutely individual companion.
