The progressive winding of the fork springs enables optimum on-road functioning.
With low spring deflection, they offer the highest degree of comfort due to great responsiveness (low breakaway torque).
At the same time, under further deflection, the springs offer smooth, precise handling for top traction characteristics and reserves to prevent bottoming out.
The version for lowering enables the front to be adjusted to correspond with rear suspension lowering.
The recommended Wilbers fork oil SAE 7.5 (order no. 55040300020) with an air chamber of 100 mm should be used to adjust the shock absorbers with respect to the fork springs – a viscosity different from the original oil is permitted.
Lowered version includes reducing sleeves (fork inserts).
