Every bag is unique, which is why the photos (colour and leather structure) may differ slightly from the delivered item!
The irregular grain of this high quality leather and the possibility of the colour rubbing off do not represent a defect of the product, but are instead a guarantee of the authenticity of the finely buffed leather and the vegetable tanning process. Signs of wear such as e.g. scratches even on brand new bags do not represent a defect, but are rather part of its "look".
    Our recommendation for porous leather:
Leather is tanned animal skin. It is a natural product of unmistakable beauty with all its typical irregularities such as grain and pigment variations. Each piece has its unique identity.
It is normal for these kinds of leather to show signs of wear or patina after a short while. This is a desired effect, which is why we do not recommend the use of care products at the beginning. The leather is meticulously oiled and/or waxed by hand and is thus sufficiently protected.
A finger nail will immediately cause a pale line, which can only be removed through polishing. Areas that are frequently touched and/or that rub against clothes are polished and patina quickly develops. Over time this will result in signs of wear, which are part of the normal appearance of porous leather and make for a unique companion.
