Product Description: mDesign License Plate Holder Techline Alu

The mDesign License Plate Holder Techline Alu offers a sleek, short rear with minimal effort. It replaces the original license plate holder and is significantly lighter. Exclusively available at POLO Motorrad.

  • Replaces Original Parts: Swap the bulky original license plate holder and plastic splash guard for a compact and elegant solution.
  • Lighter and Smaller: With its sleek design, the license plate holder reduces overall weight and gives your motorcycle a modern look.
  • Compatible Parts: For full functionality, original parts can be used or suitable accessories can be easily added.
  • Customization Friendly: If original indicators are mounted on the splash guard, there are suitable mini indicator mounts (Ø10mm) on the holder.
  • Technical Requirements: The use of a reflector and a license plate light with E-approval is required for legal operation.
  • Customizable Options: Suitable reflectors and license plate lighting are available, e.g., order numbers 50160400281 and 50160300950.

Sleek short rear with little effort.

Details:

  • Replaces the original license plate holder and plastic splash guard
  • Significantly smaller and lighter than this
  • Delivered without license plate lighting, indicators, and reflector
  • For use, these parts must be ordered additionally, in some cases the original parts may fit here (if they have the same mounting as the offered accessories)
  • Partially, an LED version for mounting under the rear fairing is recommended as license plate lighting - see the note in the Bike DB
  • If the original indicators are attached to the original splash guard, they must be replaced by additionally necessary mini indicators; suitable mounts (Ø10mm) are then included on the holder

Options:

  • Suitable reflectors (e.g., order numbers 60390701510, 50160400281, or 50160400301)
  • Suitable license plate lighting (e.g., order numbers 50160300950, 50160301340, 50160300120, 50160300392, or 60390700080)

Approval:
The license plate holders themselves do not need to be approved, therefore do not require test marks, certificates, or ABEs.
For permissible operation, the use of a reflector and a license plate light with E-approval is mandatory.

Tolles Produkt

Die Passform und die Verarbeitung das Kennzeichenhalters sind tadellos. Kleiner Tipp: Blinker mit einem kleineren Gewinde (M8 oder M10) zentriert man am besten mit einem passenden O-Ring, dann sind auch die 12mm Befestigungslöcher kein Problem ;-)

Gut aber...

Gutes Produkt. Leider M12(!!!!!) Löcher für die Blinker. Das ist mMn. nicht mehr Zeitgemäß. M8er wären besser, denn die meisten Blinker haben M8 oder M10 und zu M10 kann man M8 selber aufbohren. M12 auf M8 runter zubohren ist aufwendiger...
